catchin' up

we have had a crazy month. does anyone else feel like the holidays came and went too fast??

we have been so lucky to be able to move into a beautiful home in Mission Viejo. it's a fantastic home and a wonderful neighborhood.

we will have a post with tons of pictures of the house soon... for now, i wanted to share some pictures from our holiday festivities and all the the fun we've been having.

we moved in on 12/15, which (lucky me) was also the night of the RP Holiday Party. i was exhausted by night end, but we had a great time.

we wasted no time getting a tree... it was amazing to walk into our home and see a beautiful tree with the fireplace and the stockings. *LOVE*

We got in the spirit by visiting the Christmas lights in our favorite spots. Once with the Johnson's in Brea and again with Linda in Torrance. Ava LOVED seeing the twinkling, sparkly lights.

Christmas Eve was spent with the Johnson's. We had a great time. Emily and Allyson were so fun. We watched christmas movies, played at the park, ate, sang, opened presents. all the good stuff. here's mommy and daughter on Christmas Eve:

We spent Christmas Day with the Medina's. Ava was very excited for MORE presents. who needs Santa when you have Gramma?? We had a great time with Linda, Aunt Debbie, and Uncle Mike. Here's daddy and daughter on Christmas Day:

Ava doesn't like the cold weather clothes that much. she gets frustrated when the sweater is too bulky and she doesn't like to wear the hat. sometimes, we can convince her that it's a necessity. here's our little gingerbread girl in her pink cowgirl boots:

We made a trip to Disneyland to take part in the Holiday Festivities. It was a little crowded still, but we had fun.

Other than that, we've been enjoying our family time in our new home. it's so amazing.

We hope you had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
