holiday recap

i can't believe how quickly the holidays came and went! it was a great year and it was so fun to share new experiences with Ava. we spent thanksgiving at the johnson house and had a great time. ava had her 1st taste of pumpkin pie... i think it's safe to say that she enjoyed it. :)

the weekend after turkey-day was the RP holiday party.

ava LOVED christmas. everything - the lights, the carols, THE TREE. she cried when we took it down. she loved the idea of santa... but she didn't enjoy her encounter with him. she loved opening her presents, and my goodness! so many new toys!

i would have taken so many more pictures if i hadn't been horribly sick the whole week of christmas. then poor gabe got sick the week of new years, so we had a very simple new year's.
