as my sister says: The Freakin Weekend

This weekend has been fun and full and exhausting! On Friday morning, we checked out a 2 bedroom for rent in Orange. It was a crapfest. Everything in the place was circa 1970. Even then, you could tell that it wasn't even nice when it was first installed in 1970! It was a total let down. So, we shall press on.

We then went to RailPros for a wedding shower. Becky did a great job pulling it together, but our little conference room doesn't quite hold the ever-expanding number of employees. It was a tight fit. Janica and Emily even came! We love all of our gifts and can't wait to put them to use!

After the shower, we went to the OC Clerk/Recorder office to obtain our wedding license. I found that process silly and pointless, but whatever. We have our license to wed. (<-- hey, that's a movie.)

Friday night, we babysat Emily. That was AWESOME. :) She is so sweet, smart, cute, fun, entertaining, playful and fun! We were so happy to babysit her and will gladly do so anytime!

Saturday, Gabe had to work. BOOO. However, the Medina Ladies, Judy, and I spent all day assembling favors. We didn't quite finish the candies because Grandma Joan's fridge died while we were there!

Saturday night, we went out to dinner and to Huntington pier. It was so cold and windy at the beach, we didn't last long! but we were able to enjoy a nice walk under the full moon. It was a nice night out.

Sunday was blah - fruitless shopping for the few remaining wedding ceremony/reception accessories, grocery shopping, and laundry.
Hope everyone else enjoyed their weekend! only 20 days!!
